Tychelle A. Causey
Tychelle is a New Orleans native who relocated to Baton Rouge, LA after high school to further her education. She is a Spring 2024 Bachelors of Architecture graduate from Louisiana State University. She has been an active member of LSU NOMAS (and NOMA National) since 2018. From 2021-2023, Tychelle served as a member of the organization's executive board.
During her studies she has grown interested in environmentally sustainable architectural practices, housing crisis solutions, and building restoration & adaptation. She is looking to begin her career working on education, healthcare, and mixed-use residential and commercial projects. Through work experience she is looking to challenge her abilities and further her capabilities as a future designer. Through the works showcased in this portfolio, she hopes to give insight into her growth as an artist & architectural designer and a provide a glimpse of what is to come of her skills as a working professional.
In her free time Tychelle likes to indulge in painting, cooking, reading, dancing, outdoor activities & adventures, and napping with her cats Kyzre & Oreo.
