Etcetera Bar & Lounge, previously located in Marrero, Louisiana, was a 25 and up bar owned and operated by business owner Michelle Flemings. She chose the name etcetera because of her EXTRA personality! Her vision for the space was to have somewhere everyone was free to be themselves, 100%. While in business the lounge hosted drag queen performances, open mic might, pool tournaments, fish fries and birthday parties and celebrations. Etcetera was a place for community bonding and growth.

In action: The design was sketched onto the wall with liquid chalk markers by me and a friend of mine, Bria Robinson. I used liquor bottles and drink classes to scale the silhouettes at the bottom of the mural accurately.
