New LSU Library

Spring 2022 The corner of S. Campus Dr. and Forestry Ln sites the location for a new library proposal. The site itself can help the campus break away from the "crucifixed" form of the historical quad and unify different areas of campus to a new central hub: the library. This design integrates public and private spaces, connecting the program and circulation through a central atrium space, while having the distinction of what is public versus what is private. In my design I aimed to maximize the usage of space and incorporate more naturally illuminated spaces.
